Ventnor Haven is a small, fair weather haven that is suitable for small vessels. Stuck out into the English Channel and surrounded by treacherous tidal races, Ventnor Haven is a welcome shelter for visiting craft. Now under new management, Ventnor Haven is very much open for business and once again welcoming in visitors.

Walk ashore visitor pontoons
We have space to accommodate up to 10m vessels within the Haven.

Fresh water hoses
(non-drinking water)
There is a number of water points along with attached hoses for use free of charge on the pontoons.

Whether you require assistance with berthing or wider knowledge of the waters in and around the Solent or Channel. Our staff have over 60 years of local knowledge to help you.
Ventnor bay moorings
If you wish to moor in Ventnor Bay, tenders can be brought into the Haven.

please remember:
Ventnor Haven completely dries out on every low tide. All vessels staying over a low tide must be able to rest on the bottom. Advice can be given by the harbourmaster and berthing officers on duty if required.
